This project of implementing the FB Technology was carried out on the P-1 four-chambers furnace of the Catalytic Reforming Unit of gasoline with the application of HEC coating in the two most heat-stressed chambers of the four.
This project paid off in 10 months of operation of the furnace with HEC coatings, taking into account the fall in world prices for hydrocarbons.
At the moment, JSC "LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas" has completed 4 projects at four furnaces for the introduction of FB Technology under the terms of an energy service contract.
" According to the results of monitoring of the furnace operation carried out at the Unit during the first year of operation, a decrease in specific fuel consumption was recorded.
The actual achieved fuel economy affect was about 11% with a payback period of 10 months.
We confirm that the work was completed in the required time, quality was in accordance with the technical requirements specification."

The peculiarity of this project was that the ceramic coating was applied to the refractory of the walls in the chambers of P-1 Furnace at the gasoline Catalytic Reforming Unit (CRU), which was made of "soft" ceramic fiber blocks.
Leading employees of the company Green Ray Ltd. (Supervisors) took an active part in the implementation of this Project on the introduction of Furnace Blackening Technology (FBT) in two of the four chambers of the P-1 Furnace at CRU. Like the previous One, it was implemented under the terms of an energy service agreement in March 2016.
